Coderblock has launched two official land sale seasons so far: a pre-sale season, which is now sold out, and an ongoing Season 1. \ Therefore, there are two ways for a user to become a [landowner](/coderblock-lands/landowners-main-benefits.md) in Coderblock's open world: * Buy land that is still available in **Season 1**. * Buy land on the secondary market via **OpenSea**, sold by those who have bought it in the past and are now offering it for sale. ### Season 1 Lands To purchase a land from Season 1, you can use this link:

Unlike the pre-sale, where the location of lands for purchase was randomly determined by an algorithm, the location of lands purchased in Season 1 can be chosen by the user prior to purchase. Users can select their preferred lands (based on location and type) directly from the map. The lands available for sale in Season 1 are located around **Hexagon City**, the capital of the Coderblock universe. Pre-sale lands are located around Oasis, another important city in the project's history and the site of many of Coderblock's events.

Once you have selected the land you wish to purchase on the map, click *Next* to proceed to the payment page. You can either pay by **credit/debit card** (via Stripe), **PayPal** or **crypto** (USDC, USDT). If you choose to pay by credit/debit card or PayPal, you will need to provide your Metamask wallet address where you wish to receive the purchased lands. Coderblock will take care of the transfer. Alternatively, if you prefer to pay with USDC or USDT, you will need to connect your Metamask wallet with the cryptocurrencies required for payment.

As shown in the screenshot above, to complete the payment you will need to enter some personal details and select your preferred payment method from the options provided: * If you choose to pay with **Stripe**, once you have clicked Next, simply enter your card details to complete the payment. * If you choose to pay with **PayPal**, you will need to log in to your PayPal account and complete the payment from there. * If you choose to pay with **USDC or USDT**, as mentioned above, you will need to connect your Metamask wallet and complete the purchase by confirming the payment transaction from the wallet itself through the pop-up that will appear asking for confirmation. Remember that if you plan to use USDC or USDT, as the lands are NFTs on the Polygon network, you will also need a small amount of $MATIC in your Metamask wallet to cover the network fees. Once this process is complete, you will officially be a [landowner](/coderblock-lands/landowners-main-benefits.md)!

Note: If you already own Pre Sale lands, you can purchase Season 1 lands at a **50% discount**! If you use Crypto as your payment method and connect your wallet, our system will automatically detect the presence of Pre Sale lands in your wallet and apply the discount. If you choose to pay with Stripe or Paypal, after entering your Metamask wallet address (without connecting it), click on "**Check Discount**" so that our algorithm can verify the presence of Pre Sale lands and apply the 50% discount!

### Lands secondary market If you want to buy Lands on the secondary market, you can find them on [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/coderblock-land). While the Estate collection can be found [HERE](https://opensea.io/collection/coderblock-estate). \ To buy on this marketplace, you will need to use a Metamask wallet with MATIC, ETH or USDC (on the Polygon network).
